Sandslash and Sandshrew

Ok, so I had to try my hand at these realistic pokemon things so here goes...Sandshrew and Sandslash, both ground-type pokemon. I referenced an echidna and hedgehog for Sandslash as its general appearance in the game seems somewhat spiny as opposed to stony with long nails and such, then for sandshrew of course an armadillo which is in general similar in the sense that they turn into a ball when startled, incorporating that brick appearance as if the pokemon only has markings like that over a naturally scaled shell. In reference I have to give 100% credit to Arvalis for giving me the incentive and desire to give this a go and though this is nowhere near as good as his (for lack of anything but Gimp and a using laptop touch pad instead of a tablet) I like it personally. ^.^ Copyright miragedtheory 2012, do not steal or use without sole permission of artist.
